Bogey Golf refers to playing golf at a level of skill in which a player has an average of one stroke more than par on every hole. As an example, a score of 90 on par-72 is considered bogey golf. It is a standard for most amateurs and an indicator of consistent and good play. Even though not professional level, bogey golf is a fairly steady performance and knowledge of the strategy in the game and as such, it is a realistic and satisfying objective to many golfers.
